We do not require that you provide a license to take our courses. However, we do suggest that you check the state in which you intend to work. State licensing requirements vary from state to state, so it is incumbent upon you to research the requirement for your state and comply with any laws and requirements concerning your interest of training, to ensure that you will be able to offer services.
Virginia State DPOR: A Cosmetology, Esthetician or Permanent Cosmetic Tattoo License will be required to work and offer services.
Students are solely responsible and required to arrange their live models for the participation of the hands on portion of our training. Models can be a client, friend, relative, or any person over the age 18. All training procedures will be supervise under an insured, licensed professional with over 18 years of experience. We strongly recommend that you have at least one backup model as you will not graduate and receive a certificate if this requirement is not met. We will assist you with finding a model but this is not always guaranteed.
TRAINING LOCATION & SCHEDULING:
All courses are conducted in our private salon, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Most group training is offered on Sundays from 9am to 6pm, and Monday from 9am to 6pm. Mondays are used for students to perform their hands on practical application portion of training. Once class is concluded and students are finished with their live models, they are feel to stay and browse the salon and learning about other services we offer. However, we require that you do not disturb the stylist while they are servicing clients.

During this shadow process, students must promise not to disturb staff members while they are serving clients. Any and all questions, can be asked directly to the instructor.
